this is so smart, one of the hardest area to control bleeding is from head injury. not only the the shape makes the bandage fall off but the hair makes it difficult to tie bandages when blood makes it slippery.
How does the Gen 2 compare to the STS Compact?
I did this little clip to try to hit the high points: ruclips.net/user/shortsvpMAz_I18ss?feature=share Mainly tube length and use of colors are the biggest differences. Also, in my clip I say the Gen 2 is roughly 21 inches, but I over shot by an inch. Thanks for asking!
This update to the STS makes it operationally identical to the STS-C. The STS-C is just even smaller and lighter than the STS Gen2. And as Sam mentioned above, the color differences in the components.

An excellent idea! For those of us (such as myself) who already have the rolled bandages, however, could you achieve much the same effect by opening the rolled bandage and packing it flat as opposed to buying all new bandages?
